EBS Universität – Law School

Program Description

EBS Law Term offers an intensive academic programme from September to December each year, taught 100% in English. Focusing on Transnational Commercial Law, participants will benefit from the expertise of both the law and the business studies faculty at EBS University.

Credit Equivalencies 

Minimum of 21 ECTS.

Students who select this program can only study law subjects only. So it is only for students who are law degree students.

Please note students can only select courses from one faculty for their exchange. Students are not permitted to take courses from two different faculties. There are no exceptions. So this partner would only be suitable for single degree students (law students only) or students only selecting courses from one faculty. Double degree students are advised to research courses carefully and please take note that they cannot take courses in two different faculties.

Students must have room in their degree (a total of 24 ANU units available) when applying for exchange.
Students MUST study a minimum of 21 ECTS at this partner. This may be made up of any number of courses.
Students MUST be enrolled at ANU during their exchange semester, in an exchange shell code(s) with their ANU academic college(s) that totals 24 ANU units.

 

Accommodation

On-campus housing is not available. EBS will provide assistance to individually search for accommodation. Finding housing in Wiesbaden is difficult and expensive. We strongly encourage you to find accommodation before your arrival and take the recommendations from our housing office into consideration.
 

Indicative Travel and living costs

Total From € 650 - € 900 per month

For all ANU endorsed programs you continue to pay your fees to ANU, but you are exempt from paying tuition fees to the institution overseas. Often long-term overseas study will not cost much more than studying in Australia and it will give you an experience of a lifetime.

Scholarships 

It's possible to hold more than one scholarship, bursary or grant at a time, so checking out all of the funding opportunities available to you is a good idea.
You may also be able to source some funding through our partner universities - they provide scholarships and grants to encourage you to choose them as your destination.

OS-HELP 

OS-HELP is a Government loan scheme to assist eligible Australian students enrolled in a Commonwealth supported place, who wish to undertake an overseas experience as part of their degree
